I didn't face any obstacles out of the ordinary during the past week. The only thing that really got to me today though, is the fact that I drove over 40 miles in one day... That's burning through gas MAD fast... To fast than is feasibly acceptable. I need to break out the bike or something, rent/buy a Segway...
Anyways, I got a bit lower grade on the midterm portfolio than I had expected. I'm glad that if I absolutely smash the final portfolio, it will be like the midterm never happened. Because for me a C doesn't cut it. Basically if the rest of my college career is to be completed in a somewhat timely manner (as I wish it would) I need to get A's and B's on everything I do. A good amount of pressure, but also a good motivator.
I'm learning slowly to schedule my time better, and today was a shining example of that. If you haven't already, read the post below to find out why, and if you have... Well, good for you then. I said no to a potential web development job today because I am simply too busy to take on another one on top of the other 4 I'm currently working on AND school. My current load seems to be keeping me busy enough as it is, and I'm not able nor willing to take on another project. I found it rather awkward to reject somebody's request... It gave me a feeling of letting someone down. Which I may very well have been, but they'll have to deal with it because I can't do much more at all.
In all, I'm still busy, and still enjoying it. College is turning out to be a lot better than I had originally expected. But I still have yet to take math...
