That essay was admittedly hard to write. I found myself checking word count after every paragraph. I felt like I had said all that I needed and wanted to say after about 100-200 words, so filling in the other 5 to 6 hundred or so was time consuming to say the least. But so is the life of a beginning college student I guess.
I seem pretty on top of my schoolwork though. The only thing is that I'm barely staying on top. There is ALWAYS something that needs to be done. For example, after finishing writing this, I'm going to take a break, then I have to study for my Business class a bit. Then after that I need to work on 3 websites until I call it a night. Not a crazy amount of free time, which is what I'm used to. High school tried to set me up, but didn't do an amazing job.
Who was supposed to organize or give tours of the Parham campus anyways? I went to the SOAR orientation at the Downtown campus, but learning where everything is down there doesn't help me when all my classes are at the Parham campus... I may have missed that boat, but that is something that I would have liked to have participated in.
As for resources, Google sill reigns supreme for me for research and such. But for assignments and keeping in touch with everything school, I use Black Board, as I'm sure every other person does as well, but it's a pretty well done site. I really like being able to email my professors if I have any questions about anything, and I'm also quite fond of seeing my grades anytime I want, including comments. My online class is pretty cool to. I have so much time to get things done, I have to be careful not to forget about the class all together...
It was a good 3rd week, and I'm gearing up for the 4th then for infinity and beyond. Hopefully not infinity though, that would be a lot of time and money...
