Ways to Improve with My Most Difficult Teacher

For my online Health class with Mrs. Rala Heinen, I’ve come up with two techniques to hopefully improve my performance in that particular class. These techniques along with an apparent desire to succeed are what will eventually make up for the test that I missed.

The first technique that I’m going to employ is to keep the class more current in my mind instead of putting it on the back-burner. I did this for the first part of the semester, and now I’m paying for it with a lower grade and a lower GPA. If the class is more in the front of my mind, I’ll be able to better remember due dates, what I have to do for a particular assignment, and just be more involved with the class overall. Having something ever present in ones mind is a great way to get used to it.

Another technique I’ll use for this class is getting the assignments done ahead of time. With those out of the way, I can concentrate more on other classes, while having covered the material I needed to in that class. It also frees up time for more fun stuff outside of school. When things get done ahead of schedule, everyone wins. I get more school work done, and can spend more time doing fun things, and the professors don’t have to worry about grading the assignment later on, when the rush of assignments comes in on the due date.
