Life File 4

I found Mint.com to be a pretty cool site, but I accidentally clicked "I do not have a credit card" when in fact, I do, and now I cannot add that to my account, which is REALLY pissing me off. Other than that, it functions a lot like the visual thesaurus.

Mint.com would be pretty helpful to set up a budget, maintain it, look at your spending from a variety of graphs, and being able to know when you account is low. The amount of tools on that site is pretty crazy. You can add a bunch of things like different properties of yours, any and all accounts you may have, and pretty much anything else like loans, or all your cards. And once you add something, there are a gazillion options you can choose from to view data for anything. Pretty cool if it would actually work.

Three other sites are:
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/money101/lesson2/
This site is top of the line. Tons of relevant content that doesn't bore you to death. And, it makes sense! Definitely check this one out. I would quickly recommend this site to another student. Best site content I've ever seen. Very useful. I myself "book marked" it.

http://www.moneyandstuff.info/tips.htm
Generally moneyandstuff.info has good information all around. But the particular url listed above has the top 10 tips to managing money. Tips are always good, and the top 10? Even better. I would quickly recommend this site to a fellow student. The content is short, sweet, to the point, and relevant.

http://financialplan.about.com/od/budgetingyourmoney/ht/createbudget.htm
Step by step on how to make a budget. Couldn't get much easier than that. Plus, its from about.com, an excellent site if you want to know/find out about pretty much anything. I would recommend this site to a student after some thought. It's not the best guide out there, but it's pretty good.
